We bought a few of these Neoflam water bottles from the Maleny Real Food Fest back in September, and I'm really glad we did. Glen isn't allowed glass or metal at his work (annoyingly, as I am the Queen of Pyrex) so I'm always on the lookout for decent plastic containers, especially bottles to take smoothies to work - and I'm loving these retro 'Cola Pop' ones. They are affordable at around $14.95, are dishwasher safe, and are not only BPA-free but, according to the manufacturer, are also free of any bisphenol compounds and have been tested to show they are free from estrogenic (hormone disrupting) activity. While they are relatively leak-proof, I probably wouldn't chuck one in my handbag as the top is like a rubber stopper and just pulls out (although it does kinda 'twist lock' to close). They are great for water on the go, easy for kids to open, awesome for making a smoothie batch to store in the fridge and of course, the design is pretty fun! It's one cola bottle I'll happily drink from.
